Peter Wennink (financial director of ASML) and Eric Meurice (General Manager of ASML) about the sideways move of ASML towards the LCD Industry:

"The region can also benefit from the step ASML has taken. The core competencies are available at our suppliers. But they must realise that they will meet competition. We are considering quality, logistics, technology and costs. Whoever can supply our needs can be a supplier."
